ONYX BIOGUARD 2811

DESCRIPTION

BIOGUARD 2811 is an aqueous blend of glutaraldehyde with 5% surfactant.

APPLICATION

BIOGUARD 2811 is designed to control and kill all aerobic microbes and anaerobic sulphate reducing bacteria usually encountered in oilfield systems. It has high biocidal activity and is effective against both sessile and planktonic species. It has moderate hydrogen  sulphide scavenging properties when used in a soak/clean operation.
BIOGUARD 2811 can be continuously injected at 20 to 50 ppm but it is preferable to batch slug treat the system at 100 – 500 ppm  for 1 to 6 hours once or twice a week. Actual doses and treatment practice will depend on infection and degree of cleanliness  required.
