ONYX LIQUISOL 5000

DESCRIPTION

LIQUISOL 5000 is an aromatic solvent system. It is primarily used for good treatments to remove organic deposits such as asphaltenes, oil mud residuals, or waxes.

LIQUISOL 5000 has a high flash point to allow greater handling safety than xylene and other types of aromatic solvents.

APPLICATION

LIQUISOL 5000 may be applied by batching or squeeze treatments as appropriate. Loading capacities of organic deposits can be determined through laboratory experimentation and used to help design a treatment. In the absence of a sample, it is typical to  assume a loading capacity of organic material as 1-part organic material and 5 parts LIQUISOL 5000. However, for dispersion and  mobilization of organic deposits, 1-part LIQUISOL 5000 to 1-part organic solids has been shown to be a very effective ratio.
